Stopping to Shoot The Flowers

The wildflowers in our front yard continue to bloom in the August heat and don't look like they are going to stop as long as I keep watering them. They were from a bag of mariposa y colibri seeds from Crawdaddy & Mitzi. The mariposa's sure have been around a lot but only one colibri has been spotted this year and he flew away too fast for me to get a picture!

That are amazing pictures. You can see every detail so clear and sharp.

Very nice. I'm surprised the flowers are doing that well if it's that hot. I guess all that rain was good for something.

Nice, the only thing I've got blooming in my yard is weeds.

So I need to post more of my photos to get you guys to comment!

Good to know.

The rain in June and July helped VERY much in getting the flowers to where they are now. I keep watering them when we don't get rain for a few days so I can see how long they will last.

Holmes, I'd be happy to make you a calendar of my pics. I have MANY more and they would make great gifts!

Those are great photos -- and, yet another reason why I should buy a house, so I have a reason to keep my yard from slowly dying.
